Delete your account and data
This request permanently closes your HippieStay account. You do not need the app installed and you do not need to sign in to submit it.
What happens next
- 01Submit the phone number used for the account and an email if you have one.
- 02We contact you using account information to verify ownership and protect against fraudulent deletion.
- 03After verification, we aim to complete the request within 30 days and confirm when it is finished.
Data we delete
Your account and profile, authentication tokens, social connections, posts, comments, reviews, uploaded account media, and other data tied only to your account are deleted or anonymized.
Limited data we may retain
Booking, payment, tax, fraud-prevention, and dispute records may be retained for up to seven years where required or reasonably necessary. Routine backups may contain a protected copy for up to 90 days before being overwritten. Retained records are restricted and disconnected or anonymized where feasible.
